Their first single from their full length album was released in December 2022. Listen to 'Perfect Machine' below.

"Perfect Machine' by Buried Blonde is a perfect representation of how to capture the spirit of early 90's rock without sounding like a carbon copy or cliche. From the crunchy guitar to the galloping drum beats to the fuzzed out bass it all builds to a controlled screaming chaos where everything falls apart and seamlessly comes back together in the end." - JD

"Like a flip of the switch, and off to the races we go. Holy sh*t. The breakdown is like a motherboard that is actively frying. The anxiety caused is a side affect of the abrupt and radical change. The fuzziest and most distorted bass sound in the history of all bass sounds sends a jolt to your eardrums. Leaving disarraying connection in the brain. Comprehension is gone. Yes, the motherboard in my brain had fried. Like chicken or shrimp would be left. Crispy." - Seattle's Music Maniac

"Perfect Machine" is the first Buried Blonde song written by lead guitarist Nick Kurtz. The cover photo appears courtesy of Geoff Decker and incorporates Lauren's previous pro-wrestling career, featuring her former in-ring cohort, Caleb Crush, as model.

About Buried Blonde: Lauren Flynn came up to Whidbey Island, WA from Topanga Canyon to finish her second solo studio album in 2018, after which she committed to staying on quiet Whidbey to write. She began writing songs with the goal of forming a band. Once restrictions eased up after lockdown the band was formed and began playing venues around Seattle. In response to their music being well received they recorded a 4-song ep. They are currently working on a full length album with their first single from the album being released in December 2022. A list of media is below.

Buried Blonde is:
Lauren Flynn, Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar/Songwriter/Producer: Lauren began her music career as a vocalist and quickly picked up rhythm guitar in order to write and perform solo. She has released 2 solo studio EP's ('Bad Decisions in the Daylight' & self-produced 'Theory of Mind'), one self produced/engineered EP ('Outside One Girl') and two singles including a cover of Talking Heads 'This Must Be The Place' with 5-time Grammy winning engineer, Alfonso Rodenas (Los Tigres Del Norte). Her song 'Beyond This Moon' was featured in the 2019 web series "Coffee House Chronicles". Lauren is a former professional wrestler and studied stand up comedy in LA under Greg Dean while building her live performance skills on stages throughout southern California. She embarked on a path of sobriety in 2017, having fallen into substance abuse after losing three homes to natural disasters within 6 years.

Nick Kurtz, Lead Guitar/Songwriter - Hailing from Knoxville, TN, Nick Kurtz has been irrationally obsessed with music ever since he could walk. He started playing guitar as a teenager, quickly garnering a reputation as one of Knoxville's taller guitarists. Nick spent years on the original and cover circuits, making records and sharing stages with numerous national acts. In 2015 he found himself in Seattle and eventually found his way into Buried Blonde. He didn't even know it was happening. Just boom - all of the sudden he's in a band and can't get out. A music major, he's been known to give guitar lessons if provoked, and can be seen at shows channeling light and magic through his magnificently calloused fingertips.

Aniela Marie Perry, Bass: Aniela recently relocated to the PNW after living and working in Los Angeles for over 20 years. She is a classically trained cellist and has performed with a diverse group of composers and artists as well as on numerous feature film and television scores. She is a proficient electric bassist who studied with Wrecking Crew legend Carol Kaye. While her list of accomplishments and career highlights in cello transcend anything we can wrap our brains around, she is forbidden to play cello in this band and 100% focused on delivering the rock.
